and sat down for couples therapy during the latest episode of Live With Kelly and Mark - despite being slammed by viewers all week for sharing too much about their 'personal lives' on the morning show.

Mark, 52, took over as co-host following Ryan Seacrest's departure last week, but his on-air interactions with his wife Kelly, also 52, have been met with severe criticism.

After their first episode together premiered on Monday morning, a slew of people took to social media to bash the pair's 'fake banter,' calling them 'cringey,' 'phony,' and 'inauthentic' - and as the show carried on throughout the week, the backlash also continued, with many viewers begging them to and packing on the PDA on air.
