An AIDS activist who shot to global fame after chatting about with the disease when she was a little girl has died aged just 39, months after suffering organ failure. Hydeia Broadbent shot to global fame at the age of 11 when she shared her heartbreaking story of being born with and abandoned by her mom on Winfrey's show in 1996. The chat icon welled up and lost her composure for a few seconds while listening to Broadbent speaking, with the touching moment going on to become one of the most famous in the show's history.
