Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was released from Walter Reed Medical Center on Monday after 15 days in the hospital due to complications from his prostate cancer surgery.'The secretary continues to recover well and, on the advice of doctors, will recuperate and perform his duties remotely for a period of time from home,' the Pentagon said in a statement.
