The Long Island architect accused of carrying out a string of murders near his home was 'traumatized' by his arrest, his attorney has said - adding he fears the immense publicity surrounding the Gilgo Beach killings will deny his client a fair trial.Rex Heuermann, 59, was arrested Thursday on charges of murdering three sex workers in 2010 along the New York coast, and on Friday appeared in court.His defense attorney, Michael Brown, told he believed his client was 'traumatized' by the accusations when he was brought before the judge.
