More than half of Americans believe we are living in an era of 'tipflation' and two in five people blame popular check-out screens for the trend, an exclusive poll by Dailymail.com has found.Some 38 percent of the 2,000 shoppers surveyed said they disliked iPad check-outs and one in five felt the machines had caused them to accidentally tip too much.It amounts to $54,252,089 being spent in accidental tips each year, according to analysis by research agency Opinium.
