Gymnastics legend Mary Lou Retton has spoken out on the devastating effects of her battle with and claimed: 'I'll never be the same.' Retton, who famously won gold at the 1984 Olympic Games in , was rushed to hospital back in October after her neighbor found her lying on the floor while suffering with a rare form of the disease.After being taken into intensive care while fighting for her life, the 56-year-old's four daughters even said their final goodbyes to their mom after doctors expressed fears that she wouldn't make it through the night.
