A security guard and a customer are dead after an argument turned into deadly gunfire at a home improvement store in Indianapolis. The violent exchange took place at Menards at 42nd Street and Pendleton Pike on the city's northeast side around 5:30pm on Wednesday. A store security guard stopped a vehicle exiting the store's lumber yard, Indianapolis said. An argument between the driver and the security guard turned physical before both men exchanged gunfire, striking each other that turned deadly, the authorities said.
