A group of migrants have formed a caravan in southern in hopes of reaching the northern border region with the United States.
As many as 1,500 migrants, most of them from Colombia, , Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras and Venezuela marched Sunday out of Tapachula, a city in the southern state of Chiapas near the border with Guatemala.
Women could be seen pushing their children in strollers as several elderly people kept pace with a group that began their journey at night to avoid the daytime heat in the area.
