This is the moment a flaming 88-foot luxury yacht reportedly owned by a poker player nicknamed 'The Lion' was dragged away by Spanish coastguards before it sunk off the Mediterranean island of Formentera. All 17 people aboard, five crew members and 12 passengers, were miraculously rescued by private boats who rushed to their aid as the Italian-designed cruiser owned by the eccentric Diego Gomez Gonzalez was transformed into a floating inferno. Spanish coastguards released video of the burning yacht, named Irmao, being towed further out to sea as they battled to put flames out, but they confirmed that it later disappeared underwater off a natural landmark called Punta de Sa Pedrera.
