A mother-of-two and quadruple amputee has learnt to eat by herself with a specially adapted fork, saying she will do 'whatever it takes' as she returns home. Lucinda Mullins, 41, went into hospital for a routine kidney stone removal surgery just before , however complications in the procedure led to an infection that caused septic shock, resulting in both her arms and legs having to be amputated. In the video, published onto her page, you can see the specially adapted device, a black strap that can fix onto her arm with a fork jutting out of it, in action.
