The mother of a woman who was claims she was sexually assaulted by has opened up about her harrowing phone calls with the disgraced TV star following the alleged assault. In the new ITVX documentary The Case Against Cosby, Gianna Constand claims the comedian offered to pay for her daughter Andrea's therapy after allegedly drugging and molesting her at his home in Philadelphia in 2004.Cosby, once beloved by millions as 'America's Dad', became the first celebrity convicted of sexual assault in the #MeToo era when a jury in 2018 found him guilty of drugging and molesting Constand in 2004. However, the ruling was overturned in 2021 due to a legal technicality.
