MTG rips gun control push in the wake of Colorado Springs shooting

Firebrand Congresswoman on Saturday blasted calls for an assault weapons ban in the wake of the deadly mass shooting at an nightclub in Colorado Springs.

She also labeled the shooter 'a ' after defense attorneys said the suspect uses 'they/them' pronouns - which could possibly complicate prosecutors' push for hate crimes charges.

The Georgia capped off the Twitter post with a photo of herself grinning while crouched over a dead wild hog and armed with an assault-style rifle.
