Mummified remains of premature babies dating back more than a century have been found by shocked workmen who were renovating a former orphanage in Russia. The macabre relics were discovered in the attic of a former orphanage and medical training institution in Ulan-Ude, southern Russia, and date back to the late tsarist and early communist era.Shocked workers came across the mummified human remains as they carried out renovation on the 1870s house in the Republic of Buryatia, a Buddhist region of Russia near Lake Baikal in Siberia.
