There are no filters, no hashtags, no likes. There are no retakes, no time to set up or pose. And absolutely no influencers. Instead BeReal, which is currently so popular it’s the most downloaded free app in the UK ahead of , Instagram and , is all about encouraging users to be their real selves. No wonder it calls itself the ‘antisocial media platform’.
