Household energy bills in the US are forecast to be less this year than last, except from in the country's almost five million homes still reliant on heating oil.Residents of some states, mainly in New England and notably , , , , and , are the few Americans that may need to pay more to heat their home. The reason is two-fold: heating oil is predicted to become more expensive and the eastern parts of the country are expected to face a colder winter than last year.
