NFL player Xavien Howard files motion to dismiss STD allegation

Football player Xavien Howard has responded to an allegation he knowingly gave a woman a sexually transmitted disease.

The cornerback, 29, has filed a motion to dismiss the complaint by an unnamed woman - listed as Jane Doe in the lawsuit on October 26.

Howard's motion, which describes the complaint as 'the epitome of a shakedown', was filed two days later.
