A councilwoman has predicted that the surge of asylum seekers flooding into this week will reach NYC in just days, as she warned the migrants won't be deported even if they commit crimes.Since Wednesday morning, an astonishing 10,000 migrants have , a small border town of fewer than 30,000. Most have been released after being processed and will remain free as they wait for their asylum appointments - a process that could take years. According to local reports, most of the asylum seekers are Venezuelans who say they had to leave their home country because of the economic and social collapse of the South American nation under the socialist regime of Nicolas Maduro.
