Panthers OL Chandler Zavala is carted off the field in Detroit

offensive lineman Chandler Zavala was carted off the field with an apparent neck injury in Sunday's game against the at Ford Field.

Zavala fell down face-first on a routine blocking assignment after head-to-head contact and stayed there for a number of minutes.

The Panthers sidelines cleared and the game was stopped as Zavala was stabilized in a neck brace and on a backboard.
