A Philadelphia police officer has died after being shot at by a group attempting to steal a car inside an airport garage. The 50-year-old officer, who had served with the force for more than 22 years, was killed before he started his night shift around 11pm at Philadelphia International Airport.He and his colleague, who were assigned to the airport unit, were stepping out of their vehicle when they spotted a group of people breaking into another car.
