More than 1,000 Pizza Hut delivery drivers are set to lose their jobs in after the state introduced a new $20 minimum wage for fast food workers. Two Pizza Hut franchise owners with hundreds of stores across the Golden State will eliminate all of their delivery drivers in the new year and rely solely on third-party apps like DoorDash and UberEats instead.The move appears to have been triggered by California governor 's new law that will require all fast-food chains with 60 or more locations nationwide to pay employees $20 an hour from April.
