Uvalde Police Chief Daniel Rodriguez resigned just days after the release of a controversial report from the investigation into the Robb Elementary School shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead. Rodriguez, who had been with the department for 26 years, announced his resignation Tuesday without directly addressing in response to the shooting. 'After much contemplation and consideration, I believe it is time for me to embark on a new chapter in my career,' Rodriguez said in a statement.
