A pregnant woman who was given a ticket for using the HOV lane on a highway is claiming her unborn baby should count as a person and allow her to use the lane normally reserved for multiple passengers. Brandy Bottone from Plano, Texas is 34 weeks pregnant and was speeding to pick up her son from school when she was pulled over by the police.When asked why she was using the high occupancy vehicle lane by an officer she decided to use the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the banning of abortions in the state to her advantage. But she was told that being pregnant didn't count.
