One of two former prosecutors in charge of the Manhattan district attorney's criminal investigation into former President and his business dealings, who suddenly resigned last month, has said in his resignation letter how he believes the former president was 'guilty of numerous felony violations' and that it was 'a grave failure of justice' not to hold him accountable.
Mark Pomerantz, 70, a top deputy who had been tasked with running the investigation on a day-to-day basis had begun the Trump probe under former District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.
Current DA Alvin Bragg asked him to stay on in the role when he took office in January.
