point guard Fred Van Vleet has declined the player option in his contract worth $22.8 million and is set to hit free agency, according to multiple reports.The 29-year-old guard averaged 19.3 points and a career-high 7.2 assists last season, which ranked him in the top 10 in assists-to-turnover ratio. He also ranked third in the league with 1.8 steals per game.He has played his entire seven-year career in Toronto and was a pivotal part of the Raptors' 2019 finals victory. VanVleet also earned his first All-Star nod during the 2021-22 season.
