Famed religious broadcaster Pat Robertson, who turned the Christian Broadcasting Network from a small station into a global entity, died Thursday aged 93, according to an announcement from the network.No cause of death was given.Robertson was at the head of many prominent religious organizations that helped comprise the American religious right, including Regent University, an evangelical Christian school in Virginia Beach, as well as the American Center for Law and Justice, an institution committed to defending the First Amendment rights of religious people.
