A dire report has warned that Mayor Eric Adams is slashing the city's budget too aggressively - overcompensating by $5 billion - to cope with the migrant crisis.Adams ordered city agencies - including the NYPD, fire department and Department of Education - to slash budgets by 15 percent this fiscal year - starting with a 5 percent cut by November.The leader says the city needs to make savings to cope with some 116,000 migrants who have arrived in 2023.
