Researchers claim to have found the perfect age for making financial decisions and it hovers between 53 and 54. After reaching this milestone, workers tend to have gathered enough experience of spending and saving money - but crucially have not started to lose key cognitive skills. It also marks the age where adults have fewer interest rates and fees to pay off from credit cards and other loans.
