Rick Scott slams Biden claim it's his 'DREAM' to cut Medicare

Florida Sen. Rick Scott kept up his angry clash with President Biden, who he said 'lies' about his plan to sunset federal programs – and brought up legislation Biden introduced nearly 50 years ago.

'Nobody believes that I want to cut Medicare or Social Security. I've never said it. I've never said it,' Scott told in an interview two days after Biden confronted Republicans over his plan during his State of the Union address.

Biden got in a back-and-forth with Republicans, . He said he was 'politely not naming' the Republicans he was talking about – but then on Wednesday read from Scott's plan during a speech in Wisconsin, where he also dinged home-state Republican Sen. Ron Johnson. Biden flew to Florida Thursday, giving him yet another forum to spar with Scott.
