The woman charged with the challenging task of delivering sign language throughout 's show has been widely praised for her enthusiastic performance.
Justina Miles, a 20-year old nursing student and American Sign Language specialist, became the premier American sporting event's first ever deaf performer as proceedings got underway at State Park Stadium in on Sunday.
She also made history by becoming the first deaf person to perform its pre-show anthem, Lift Every Voice and Sing - sung live by Tony Award winning singer and actress Sheryl Lee Ralph.
