Former college swimmers Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan faced hostility from trans rights activists as they gathered in to see the 'Save Women's Sports Act' passed by Governor .The bill, which was officially signed in June, is designed to prevent biological men from competing against female athletes at Texas colleges and universities.The ceremonial signing yesterday saw the governor and athletes attend the Texas Women's Hall of Fame at Texas Woman's University in Denton, where as many as 250 protesters were gathered outside.
