Todd Haimes, who saved New York’s Roundabout Theatre Company from bankruptcy and turned it into one of the largest nonprofit theaters in America, has died at 66.The artistic director and CEO of Roundabout passed away on Wednesday at New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital of complications from osteosarcoma, a bone .His passing was announced by Roundabout spokesman Matt Polk. Haimes battled with the cancer since 2002, when he was first diagnosed with sarcoma of the jaw.
