A teen who was detained for using the 'skiplagging' technique to fly on a cheaper ticket has been banned from American Airlines for three years. Logan Parsons, 17, was caught attempting the hack on a flight from to New York last week, where he planned to depart in North Carolina during a layover stop instead. The teenager's dad Hunter revealed to that after being detained and interrogated, Logan has now been handed a ban for using the $150 layover ticket instead of paying full price.
