The hallmark sharp, shooting, pulsating pain of migraines is strongly associated with poor sleep quality, a new study suggests.Poor sleep and low energy one night are strong indicators of a painful headache the next morning. At the same time, a high-stress, high-energy day raises the odds of the following afternoon or evening.Researchers from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the National Institutes of Health in said the patterns they found underscore the influence of circadian rhythm, or the natural cycle of physical and behavioral changes over a 24-hour period.
