At least 200 million people worldwide could be forced out of their coastal city homes after scientists revealed they are sinking by up to five centimeters per year.Researchers at the University of analyzed 99 places, finding that most are sinking faster than sea levels are rising, but 34 locations are dropping by more than one centimeter per year.The team uncovered four sinking 'hot spot' cities in Bangladesh, , the Philippines and , with yearly subsidence rates of up to five centimeters.
