The passed a short-gap spending bill on Thursday, pushing off a government shutdown until March, and setting up the House for a last-minute vote before a massive snowstorm is expected to blanket Washington. The bill was cleared out of the Senate 77 to 18.The continuing resolution, or CR, will now head to the House for a vote this afternoon as a snowstorm barrels toward D.C. and lawmakers are eager to get out of town before it hits.
