IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley claimed on Tuesday that a retired agent who spoke with the House Oversight Committee did not share all he knew about the investigation because he was intimidated by the agency. Oversight say that agent's testimony undercut that of Shapley, who testified before the committee on July 19. Ahead of his July 17 testimony with the Oversight Committee, the anonymous, newly-retired agent received a letter from FBI general counsel Jason Jones warning him not to share information on any 'deliberations or ongoing investigative activity.'
