Taking inspiration straight from a movie heist, a gang stole $500,000 worth of jewelry from a store using a jackhammer to knock out the alarms before getting away with loot. The robbery took place at Mint Jewelers by Boodaddy Diamonds in Hollywood, Florida, on September 16 in under five minutes. A group of thieves broke in through the roof, used a jackhammer to disable the alarms and dropped down into the showroom.
