Shohei Ohtani's selfless act caught on camera as fans are left in awe

MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani went viral earlier this week after cameras spotted him carrying out a 'selfless' act mid-game.

Ohtani, who helped the Dodgers win the World Series in 2024, is one of the highest-paid baseball players on the planet after signing a record 10-year, $700m deal with the team last year.

Yet despite putting pen to paper on the second most expensive sports contract of all time, which was only surpassed by outfielder Juan Soto this year, the 30-year-old Japanese sensation remains as humble as they come behind the scenes.
