A snowpocaylpse has raged on for the sixth day in as the northern part of the state has been slammed with intense winds and snowfall that has caused travel headaches and left people snowed in to start the workweek. Interstate-80 has shut down as Tahoe saw seven feet of snow while 190mph wind whipped through the Sierra valley. Power outages have been reported in Truckee, Tahoe City and Zephyr Cove as trees have fallen onto power lines along Highway 89.
