A South Korean diplomat was beaten and had his nose broken in an 'unprovoked' attack on Wednesday night as he walked down the street with a friend.
The 53-year-old victim, who has not been named, was reportedly walking with a friend at 8.10pm Wednesday night near the corner of East 35th Street and Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan, when he was approached by an unidentified man.
The attacker reportedly did not say anything as he punched the South Korean diplomat, who showed the assailant his South Korean diplomatic ID before the suspect fled on foot toward Sixth Avenue, reports.
