A former Australian spy has suffered a suspected heart attack and died while trying to row 4,800km across the Atlantic in a gruelling epic ocean race.Alisdair Putt was skippering the Aussie Old Salts four-man rowing team in the punishing Atlantic Challenge of the World's Toughest Row competition. Mr Putt was a former ASIO agent, prosecutor and reserve navy officer, and was leading his team of retired and current military servicemen - aged between 40 and 62 - on the trip from the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean.
