Squatters and in Pensacola, , have left a neighborhood in shambles, forcing fed-up residents to navigate trash piles and open-air bathrooms near their homes.
'It's dangerous. It's not healthy. And it's really kinda starting to take a toll on our neighbors and how they feel about letting their kids play out in the yard,' Jessica Allen told .
She is one of the residents of the Northpointe community who have reached their breaking point living around piles of trash and tents for a year. Allen said her neighbors can't avoid the homeless squatters as they encounter them on a weekly basis.
