The head of the Teamsters union, one of the largest labor unions in the world, with 1.2 million members, is threatening strikes by UPS workers within the next few days if negotiations over pay do not reach agreement. 'We've organized, strategized, now it's time to pulverize!' Teamsters President Sean O'Brien said during rallying speech in Atlanta on Saturday.O'Brien revealed how 95 percent of contract negotiations have been completed but he wants the package deliver company UPS to adequately pay its workers - including those who work part time.
