Thousands of unionized US workers from General Motors, Ford and Stellantis represented by the United Auto Workers Union put down their tools on Friday after they demanded a 40% pay increase and a four-day work week. Stock futures in all three Detroit manufacturers fell by around 1% during premarket as the strikers followed through with their plans, but Tesla's stock remained high.
