The Houston are serious about protecting rookie quarterback CJ Stroud, and proved that on Wednesday by reaching an agreement on a $56million, three-year extension with offensive tackle Tytus Howard.A first-round pick out of State in 2019, Howard started 54 games for Houston in his four years in the NFL.He had one year remaining on his contract before reaching an agreement on this extension.
