A Department of Public Safety agent has died after he was crushed by a vehicle that flipped down an embankment while he was providing security during an arrest the U.S. border wall Friday. Anthony Salas, 37, was part of a Texas Department of Public Safety Special Operations Group working with the U.S. Border Patrol when he was involved in the 'tragic accident' near Eagle Pass around 7:30 p.m. Friday night, according to a press release issued by this weekend. Photos taken by the show the site of the crash and a pickup truck flipped on its side. It is unclear what caused it to flip, and where Salas was in the truck at the time of the accident.
