Scientists unearthed a unique trove of artifacts from the Norwegian mountains that includes a preserved arrow shaft, a mummified bird and a Bronze age shoe. The finds were buried in ice patches, which tend to be relatively stable and therefore create ideal conditions for preserving organic material.'Objects and remains of animals and human activity have been found that we didn’t even know existed,' said Birgitte Skar, an archaeologist and associate professor at the NTNU University Museum.
