Two days after seeking to dump his court-appointed lawyers, alleged Donald Trump would-be assassin Ryan Routh told a federal judge he wants to represent himself in his own case.
He made his gambit known in court during a hearing before U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon – the same judge who handled Trump's classified documents case and presented prosecutor Jack Smith's team with a series of setbacks.
When Cannon asked Routh if he wanted her to name new lawyers after asking to remove the prior ones, he told her: 'No. I will represent myself.'
