Two Irish tourists, aged 59 and 60, have been run over and killed in a horrific car crash in Rome. The two victims were walking across a pedestrian crossing in the southern outskirts of the Italian capital when they were hit by a car and reportedly thrown several yards by the impact this afternoon, reports Italian newspaper . The horrified driver of the Ford Fiesta reportedly got out of the car and provided first aid to the Irish victims before medics arrived on the scene.
