The 's Ramon Taveras says he's lucky to be alive after a 'group of armed men' opened fire on the 30-year-old MMA fighter outside a home last week.
'It's unfortunate that I even have to make a post like this, but I cannot let this be swept under the rug,' Taveras (10-2-0) wrote in a social media post that included grainy doorbell camera footage of the purported shooting.
The video shows one man, presumably Taveras, walking outside into the front yard of a home before unlocking a car with a remote key. It's at that moment that several flashes of light shine out from a nearby SUV or van, which then speeds away as Taveras remained crouched safely behind the sedan in the front yard.
